As of February 22, the Ron Paul campaign legal team was looking into the allegations of vote fraud in Maine. Several princincts reported zero results for any candidate. Washington county did not conduct its vote at all. Washington county voters will vote this Saturday, but it's being reported that the Maine GOP chair has said their votes won't count. No official statement from the legal team has been issued.

Michael Degusta writing for The Understatement has done all smartphone owners and potential buyers a great favor by publishing his research on smartphone OS upgrades after the sale of the phone. He summarizes this research in a very revealing chart and provides the detail in his article. Briefly, Degusta says,
"I went back and found every Android phone shipped in the United States up through the middle of last year. I then tracked down every update that was released for each device - be it a major OS upgrade or a minor support patch - as well as prices and release and discontinuation dates. I compared these dates and versions to the currently shipping version of Android at the time. The resulting picture isn’t pretty - well, not for Android users ... Why Is This So Bad? ... Consumers Get Screwed ... Developers Are Constrained ... Security Risks Loom ...
" ... Why Don’t Android Phones Get Updated?
"That’s a very good question. Obviously a big part of the problem is that Android has to go from Google to the phone manufacturers to the carriers to the devices, whereas iOS just goes from Apple directly to devices.
"It appears to be a widely held viewpoint that there’s no incentive for smartphone manufacturers to update the OS: because manufacturers don’t make any money after the hardware sale, they want you to buy another phone as soon as possible ... it’s been fairly well established that Apple also really only makes money from hardware sales, and yet their long term update support is excellent (see chart).
"In other words, Apple’s way of getting you to buy a new phone is to make you really happy with your current one, whereas apparently Android phone makers think they can get you to buy a new phone by making you really unhappy with your current one. According to Josh Gerstein in his article, "Newt Gingrich advocated censoring the web in 2006," Gingrich called for censoring the web in 2006 using the same rhetoric as those who sought to curtail other constitutional freedoms in the name of fighting terrorism immediately after 9/11. Here are the combined quotes attributed to Gingrich on why the web should be censored.
"We need to get ahead of the curve rather than wait until we actually literally lose a city, which I think could literally happen in the next decade if we're unfortunate ... We now should be impaneling people to look seriously at a level of supervision that we would never dream of if it weren't for the scale of the threat ... a serious debate about the First Amendment ... This same reasoning of, "kill our liberties in order to save our liberties," is a variation of the logic, "We had to destroy the village to save it." All this argument does is give the destroyers of liberty a warped and invalid justification for destroying the U.S. Constitution. Others gave the same justification to start dismantling the liberties guaranteed to Americans by the constitution right after 9/11. Look ...

Iowa's Cult of Death Throwing Support To Santorum?
If what's being said about Santorum's Iowa surge from last in the pack to top tier status is true, it illustrates why I chose to leave the church to maintain integrity in my faith.
"The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief." Job 24:14 (KJV) "Moreover ye shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer, that is guilty of death; but he shall surely be put to death." Num 35:31 (ASV)
Bomb Iraq. Pass the plate. Bomb Afghanistan. Pass the bread. Bomb Iran. Pass the wine. Thou shalt not kill unless they have oil and a government official for the invading army says we will only kill the bad people there - regardless of their age. Thou shalt not steal unless it's oil, minerals and land belonging to brown people who can't defend themselves against the world's most powerful military. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor unless it's necessary to incite the American people to start yet another war. Thou shalt not covet unless you think you really need it or at least you really want it. So much for the Ten Commandments.
Award those giving their blessing to conduct the war in their name and with their treasure an excuse to unburden their soul and conscience. Call it a war against 'terrorism.' Call it anything other than a war of conquest.
It sounds like _some_ of the evangelicals in Iowa have found their man in Santorum. He couldn't wait to bomb the people of Iraq. He can't wait to bomb the people of Iran. Father forgive them for they know not what they do. A vote for Santorum is a vote for Romney/Obama (RomObama).
Not all people of religion in Iowa are this heartless and this blind to right and wrong / good and evil. Many Christians in Iowa have grown in their discernment. "And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith ..." Acts 9:18 (KJV) Iowans of all faiths and no faith who have discernment can now beginning to see through the lies and manipulations of those who conduct war - not for defense - but for profit and conquest. They now understand that the only man of peace in this race to be the Commander-In-Chief of the world's most powerful military is Ron Paul. The defense of the Middle East and of Europe is the responsiblity of the nations comprising the Middle East and Europe. Americans are not morally obligated to defend people who can and should defend themselves. The misguided souls of America's churches need to come to grips with how they have been manipulated by their church leaders, their government and media into supporting presidential and congressional candidates that support globalist wars of aggression and imperialism -- wars that by their nature conflict with the very foundations of the faith in which they profess to believe.
