  Bring'em Home!
" George Bush said, 'Bring them on.' ... Those three words galvanized Military Families Speak Out, Veterans for Peace and other veterans' organizations to initiate the campaign we are launching today. We say, 'Bring them home now.' Bring them home because our troops should not have been in Iraq in the first place. 'Bring them home because there was no imminent danger to the United States. Bring them home because there were no weapons of mass destruction. Bring them home because there was no link between Al-Qaeda and Saddam Hussein. " -- Nancy Lessin, co-founder of Military Families Speak Out --

" You know, in all the administration's fictions of weapons of mass destruction and nuclear programs and... the phony Al-Qaeda connections that are being exposed as fabrications, this is not the rule of law. This is the rule of bombs and bullets. These are rich men in very expensive suits conducting statecraft like gangsters.   Oil Wars: Iraqis know it's about the oil...
" Iraq's top oil official admitted Saturday he could not guarantee oil exports after saboteurs blew up part of a key pipeline to Turkey, just two days after crude had started flowing again. " -- Saboteurs... --
This type of guerilla warfare can go on for decades ... centuries. America's dependence upon foreign energy supplies will weaken us until we can no longer occupy the world's oil fields and shipping lanes. The fall of the great American empire will then follow. To avoid this, American needs to begin NOW to develop the bridge between fossil fuels and altervatives that include over-unity.

Free Trade and the Destruction of American Sovereignty
" Free trade does to a nation what alcohol does to a man: saps him first of his vitality, then his energy, then his independence, then his life. America today exhibits the symptoms of a nation passing into late middle age. We spend more than we earn. We consume more than we produce. " -- Buchanan, Death of Manufacturing... --
" Not only the wealth, but the independence and security of a country, appear to be materially connected with the prosperity of manufactures. Every nation ... ought to endeavor to possess within itself all the essentials of a national supply. These comprise the means of subsistence, habitation, clothing and defense. " -- .Alexander Hamilton, the architect of the U.S. economy. As first Treasury Secretary, he delivered in 1791 the 'Report on Manufactures,' one of America’s great state papers. Reflecting on how close his country had come to losing its liberty. -- Death of Manufacturing... --

  History repeating itself
" You are now witnessing the beginning of a great epoch in history... This fire is the beginning. "

Within four weeks of the terrorist attack, the nation's now-popular leader had pushed through legislation - in the name of combating terrorism and fighting the philosophy he said spawned it - that suspended constitutional guarantees of free speech, privacy, and habeas corpus. Police could now intercept mail and wiretap phones; suspected terrorists could be imprisoned without specific charges and without access to their lawyers; police could sneak into people's homes without warrants if the cases involved terrorism. -- Warnings... --

  Computer Vote Fraud
DieboldTouchscreenVotingMachine_lg.jpg - 15601 Bytes
" The scientists are undermining people's confidence in democracy ... None of the critics is giving any credence to the extensive system of checks and balances that we employ internally -- thousands of poll workers, reconciliation to the rosters, all the administrative procedures, the League of Women Voters. " -- Mischelle Townsend, registrar of voters in Riverside County, CA, 'California recall ...'
None of the checks and balances Mischelle Townsend cites in the quote above does anything to reconcile the vote cast with the vote counted.
" Florida was a perfect example of how a paper election can get botched. " Cathy Darling, Shasta County assistant county clerk --
" As many as 75 percent of voters nationwide will cast ballots electronically by 2010. " -- 'California recall ...' --
Quite true. Election fraud preceded computerized voting. Computerized voting merely adds another level of potential for fraud, at the same time that it adds more complexity to solving the problem.
" Instead of transmitting results from precincts to the county's mainframe by modem, standard practice since March 2002, Rother is dispatching couriers to hand-deliver memory cards immediately after polls close Oct. 7 -- minimizing the possibility hackers can tinker with results.

'I will download the results to the mainframe myself, with our local media and anyone else who wants to be here watching ... We are trying to keep complexity to a minimum, which is almost impossible under the circumstances." -- Melinda Rother, Plumas county assistant clerk recorder registrar --
There are many points of failure in the voting process. Rother addresses the transmission of the 'votes' from the polls to the courthouse. She also addresses the handling of the memory card that contains the 'votes.' She can not verify the accuracy of either the casting or counting of the votes. No one can without making a really big scene. Such verification simply can not happen without investigating, among other things, the test vote-cast and vote-count programs and data files and the actual vote-cast and vote-count programs and data files.

The crux of the problem in verification is that the vote is cast in secret. If votes were cast by first casting the vote, getting a print out and then walking up to the election judges and announcing candidate by candidate and ballot initiative by ballot initiative who and what the voter was voting for, the election judges would then be able to reconcile and confirm on the spot the running total for the votes. These totals would then be confirmed by the whole panel in real time. These totals then could be verified at the courthouse where the final grand totals are summed and announced. The judges and poll watchers would be witnesses to this.

But we have secret votes for the same reason we have election fraud. People are willing to cheat and intimidate others in order to win elections. Think about it. Why are votes secret? And if they weren't secret, apart from absentee balloting, how could there be any fraud in casting and counting votes. The emphasis for stealing elections would shift to absentee ballots and preventing people from going to the polls through threats and intimidation.

Prosecuting those who would commit vote fraud and voter intimidation should be with prejudice. Those who would steal elections should serve thirty days in the town square stocks before being tarred and feathered and run out of town on as rail. Their names should be posted along side the sexual offenders, and their participation in any taxpayer supported service or office should be forever prohibited.

  Peak Oil
" [Oil production in the US peaked in 1970, and in the USSR in the 1980s.] Soon after assuming office in 1981, the Reagan Administration abandoned the established policy of pursuing dιtente with the Soviet Union and instead instituted a massive arms buildup; it also fomented proxy wars in areas of Soviet influence, while denying the Soviets desperately needed oil equipment and technology. Then, in the mid-1980s, Washington persuaded Saudi Arabia to flood the world market with cheap oil. Throughout the last decade of its existence, the USSR pumped and sold its oil at the maximum possible rate in order to earn foreign exchange income with which to keep up in the arms race and prosecute its war in Afghanistan. Yet with markets awash with cheap Saudi oil, the Soviets were earning less even as they pumped more. Two years after their oil production peaked, the economy of the USSR crumbled and its government collapsed. "

The Great Northeast Blackout of 1965
" Today's failure is a dramatic reminder of the importance of the uninterrupted flow of power to the health, safety, and well being of our citizens and the defense of our country.
" This failure should be immediately and carefully investigated in order to prevent a recurrence.
" You are therefore directed to launch a thorough study of the cause of this failure. I am putting at your disposal full resources of the federal government and directing the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Defense and other agencies to support you in any way possible. You are to call upon the top experts in our nation in conducting the investigation.
" A report is expected at the earliest possible moment as to the causes of the failure and the steps you recommend to be taken to prevent a recurrence. "

  Wiesenthal Center Pressures Mel Gibson
New Testament Bible in America being censored by Jews!
" [The Wiesenthal Center] urge[s] that [Mel Gibson] make some of the changes suggested to him by the distinguished group of Catholic and Jewish experts in the field to help ensure that the Jewish people are not yet again falsely singled out as being responsible for the death of Jesus,” " -- Wiesenthal Center Urges Mel Gibson [to censor the New Testament Gospel of Jesus Christ] ...
" Falsely " singled out? This is simply a matter of reading the New Testament account of the arrest, trial and crucifixion of Christ. Gibson is not making this up. This is the Gospel. Is the Wiesenthal Center and ADL advocating censoring the New Testament?
Notice the the ADL and the Simon Wiesenthal center are going after an artist filming the death of Jesus Christ according to the Gospel, but these same groups are not saying a word about Arnold Schwarzenegger's Nazis connections? What could be more anti-Jewish than Nazis?
Kurt Waldheim & Arnold Schwarzenegger
Mel Gibson and Icon Productions MUST hang tough. America will support Mel Gibson at the box office as it always has. This is more than a movie now. This is about standing up for the First Amendment and the Gospel of Jesus Christ against the forces that would destroy the Bill of Rights and burn the New Testament if we let them get away with it. This is serious business that can be settled in the movie theater and in the private sector. Mel Gibson, America is with you! Do not crucify God's Word because of the radical demands of the ADL and the Simon Wiesenthal Center!
