PROFILING QUIZ

To ensure we Americans never offend anyone--particularly fanatics intent on killing us--airport screeners are not allowed to profile people. They will, however, continue to perform random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, Secret Service agents who are members of the President's security detail, and 85-year
old Congressmen with metal hips.

Let's pause a moment and take the following test...

In 2002 the United States fought a war in Afghanistan against:

Does anyone see a pattern here? Why are we fooling around? America is immobilized with Political Correctness. PC is a national security threat. This candidate is not concerned about being political correct, but I will strive my best to be constitutionally correct.

Under the pretext of government provided security, I will not trade away:
- the right to an attorney and attorney/client privileges
- the right to a public trial by a jury of peers
- the requirement for a warrant to be issued prior to property search and seizure

Each of these constitutional rights have been eroded since 9-11, but Political Correctness has grown stronger. Grandmothers and babies are being searched at airports while those fitting the description of the perpetrators of the terrorist incidents above walk right on though if their randomly selected number excuses them from being searched. How insane is this? We must stop it. I will vote to stop if you will elect me in November.
