Ronald Reagan On Ron Paul
"Ron Paul is one of the outstanding leaders fighting for a stronger national defense. As a former Air Force officer, he knows well the needs of our armed forces, and he always puts them first. We need to keep him fighting for our country."
-- Ronald Reagan --

International Association of Fire Fighters
Letter & Video Against Rudy Giuliani

• Rudy Giuliani: Urban Legend / IAFF video
• Firefighters Union Letter On Rudy Giuliani
March 8, 2007

"On March 14, 2007, the IAFF will host the first bi-partisan Presidential Forum of the 2008 election cycle. No other union and very few organizations has the credibility and respect to attract top-tier candidates from both political parties. The lineup of speakers who have agreed to participate in our Forum is truly a testament to our great union and the reputation we have built as a powerful political force and a coveted endorsement.

"... Early on, the IAFF made a decision to invite all serious candidates from both political parties — except one: former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

"We made this decision after considerable soul-searching and close consultation with our two New York City affiliates, the Uniformed Firefighters Association Local 94 and the Uniformed Fire Officers Association Local 854, as well as our former Local 94 President and current IAFF 1st District Vice President covering New York.

"The IAFF recognizes that Mayor Giuliani generally enjoys a favorable reputation as a result of his actions immediately after the tragedy of 9/11. As such, we want our affiliates and every one of our members to clearly understand the reason and rationale behind this very serious and sober decision.

"Many people consider Rudy Giuliani "America's Mayor," and many of our members who don't yet know the real story, may also have a positive view of him. This letter is intended to make all of our members aware of the egregious acts Mayor Giuliani committed against our members, our fallen on 9/11, and our New York City union officers following that horrific day."

Voices Before the Storm
"Not one of them [the four frontrunning Republican presidential candidates] are principled conservatives ... Not one of them was there in the last 10 or 12 years when conservatives desperately needed leadership. So why should we be there for them?"
-- Richard Viguerie, the father of direct mail fundraising, urging conservatives to withhold their money from the Republican state and national committees and the four frontrunning Republicans, "Richard Viguerie says GOP has abandoned conservatives", October 12, 2007 --

"[Mike Huckabee] destroyed the conservative movement in Arkansas, and left the Republican Party a shambles ... Yet some of the same evangelicals who sold us on George W. Bush as a 'compassionate conservative' are now trying to sell us on Mike Huckabee."
-- Phyllis Schlafly, president of the national Eagle Forum, "Another Man From Hope: Who is Mike Huckabee?", October 26, 2007, WSJ.com --

"A [Rudy] Giuliani presidency would represent the return and final triumph of the Republicanism that conservatives went into politics to purge from power. A Giuliani presidency would represent repudiation by the party of the moral, social and cultural content that, with anti-communism, once separated it from liberal Democrats and defined it as an institution. Rudy offers the right the ultimate Faustian bargain: retention of power at the price of one's soul."

1975 US/Iranian Agreement
for Peaceful Iranian Nuclear Program

National Security Decision Memorandum 292
April 22, 1975

Subject: U.S. - Iran Nuclear Cooperation

The President has reviewed the study directed by NSSM 219 and has noted the comments and recommendations of the agencies. The President has decided that in negotiating an Agreement on Cooperation in the Civil Uses of Atomic Energy with the Government of Iran, the U.S. shall:

-- Permit U.S. material to be fabricated into fuel in Iran for use in its own reactors and for pass-through to third countries with whom we have Agreements ...

Documents here.
End excerpt.
Iran's oil reserves are not inexhaustible (nor indestructible). This was recognized during the Shaw's reign. The US and Iran agreed to a peaceful Iranian civilian nuclear program. That was then, this is now.

Now, of course, the spin is that Iran wants a nuclear program only to destroy Israel. What hasn't changed is Iran's long-term need for defense (deterrent) and civilian energy beyond petroleum.

Sean Hannity likes to say that the war on terror is the defining issue of our time. He couldn't be more wrong. The defining issue of our time is the world's absolute need to produce inexpensive and renewable energy technology and release it to the public domain. Until this is done, scarce energy and dependence upon the centralized energy distribution model will continue to drive the oil wars [1] [2] [3] and this so-called terrorism.

"Because collapse will not be televised, you will not know that it has happened. You will only know that it has happened to you."

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I am not an expert or a scholar or an activist. I am more of an eye-witness. I watched the Soviet Union collapse, and I have tried to put my observations into a concise message. I will leave it up to you to decide just how urgent a message it is.

"My talk tonight is about the lack of collapse-preparedness here in the United States. I will compare it with the situation in the Soviet Union, prior to its collapse. The rhetorical device I am going to use is the "Collapse Gap" – to go along with the Nuclear Gap, and the Space Gap, and various other superpower gaps that were fashionable during the Cold War.

"... From what I've seen and read, it seems that there is a fair chance that the U.S. economy will collapse sometime within the foreseeable future. It also would seem that we won't be particularly well-prepared for it. As things stand, the U.S. economy is poised to perform something like a disappearing act. And so I am eager to put my observations of the Soviet collapse to good use."

Sunday NY Post Blacks Out Ron Paul
Sunday, October 21, 2007 - FreeMarketNews.com

NEWS OPINION

... The "conservative" paper owned by Media Mogul Rupert Murdoch, has managed the feat of covering the Family Research Council's recent "Values Voter" presidential debate, and ranking candidates according to their popularity with "values voters" without mentioning third-place finisher GOP presidential contender Ron Paul (R-Tex).

The page 4 story in the Sunday Post, "Religious Right Rejects [Giuliani's] Values Plea" chooses to report only the "onsite voting results" and then actually drops off Ron Paul's name. It also manages to write a full article without mentioning either Ron Paul or his results. This is in marked contrast to other major news outlets (CNN, Daily News) that mention Ron Paul and his results as an obviously routine part of the coverage of the Values Voter debate.

pulsar.gif - 2171 Bytes "We just bought $430,000 of radio air time
to introduce Ron Paul to voters in
New Hampshire, Iowa, South Carolina and Nevada"

October 20, 2007
Ron Paul HQ

The clock is ticking. And it is now ticking faster than anyone anticipated.

The New Hampshire primary could be held as early as December 11. Earlier this week, Iowa moved its caucus date to January 3. With these two key states having moved up their dates, we are running out of time fast; especially when you consider the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

So, we're now in full campaign mode. We just bought $430,000 of radio air time to introduce Ron Paul to voters in New Hampshire, Iowa, South Carolina and Nevada. That sounds like a lot of money, but that $430,000 will pay for only two weeks. That's right, almost a half million dollars for only two weeks of radio time in just four states.

You can see that the $5 million we have in the bank won't last for long; especially when you factor in money for the production and broadcast of high-quality TV ads.

We know Dr. Paul and what he stands for, but most Americans don't. That's why we will have to spend millions of dollars for radio and TV to introduce Dr. Paul and his message - our message - of freedom, peace and prosperity to millions of Americans for the first time. And we have little time to do it.

We've set a goal of raising $430,000 in three days. Will you help us?

Listen to our new radio ad and donate today. The campaign is in full swing. We have little time.

Please help us broadcast freedom from coast to coast. Go to www.ronpaul2008.com today.

Nancy Pelosi, Meet Your Replacement!
The US House can end the Iraq war by funding the orderly and safe withdrawl of US troops instead of continuing to fund the war budget requests of the very people who took us to war. Nancy Pelosi refuses, as House Speaker, to defund the war. It's time she was defeated at the polls and replaced with someone who will vote to defund the Iraq war.

James Dobson: Please Endorse Ron Paul
PLEASE SIGN THE FOLLOWING PETITION
The linked petition is not perfect but may be amended by your comments when you sign. It is important to rally the Christian community to support Ron Paul for President. To that end, Dr. James Dobson and his group who just recently publicly declined to support Guiliani, Thompson or McCain need to be encouraged to quickly and publicly support Ron Paul. Please read the entire petition carefully then make your amendments to it as well as send your personal message to Dr. Dobson in the comments section.

The fact that these Christian leaders are considering supporting a third party when both the Libertarian and Constitution Parties are supporting Ron Paul demonstrates that Dr. Dobson and his group have not given serious consideration to Ron Paul. For all we know, they, like most Americans, are only aware of the Main Stream Media's pre-ordained Republican Presidential candidates. Let Dr. Dobson and his group know about Republican Ron Paul and ask them to endorse him.

Please read then sign the petition here.
